A lesson in fear

It was early in the morning, and the sun was just starting to peek over the horizon. The birds were singing and the flowers were blooming. All was right in the world.

But there was something stirring in the distance. A dark cloud was gathering on the horizon, and it was headed this way.

The cloud grew closer and closer, until it was right overhead. And then, without warning, it unleashed its fury.

A downpour of rain, punctuated by flashes of lightning and thunder that shook the very ground.

This was no ordinary storm. This was the stuff of nightmares.

And yet, somehow, in the midst of all this terror, there was a lesson to be learned.

For in the midst of all this fear, the people of the world came together. They helped each other through the storm, and they emerged stronger for it.

So if you ever find yourself in the middle of a storm, remember that you're not alone. There are others who will help you through it. And you will come out the other side a stronger person for it.
