Assuming you would like a Transactions ID (TID) for The Burning Crusade (TBC):

To generate a TID, all you need is a registered account with a major auction house such as Alliance Auction House or Horde Auction House. With your account, you will be able to create and manage all your TID transactions.

Once you have registered and logged in, go to the "My Transaction" page. On this page, you will find all the options to generate a TID. If you have not created a TID before, you will be asked to create one. TID's are typically 10-12 digits long and are used to keep track of all your TID transactions.
