Requirements

To start the process of acquiring Artifice armor, you must first reach the soft power cap of 900. Once you’ve reached this milestone, Liang-di will appear on the map on Io, and will offer you the “A Question of Memory” quest.

The first step of this quest is to collect 100 arc energy, which can be acquired by completing public events, opening chests, or defeating enemies with arc damage. Once you’ve collected the required amount, return to Liang-di and she’ll task you with finding another Io resident, Sai Mota.

Head to the Lost Oasis and complete the “ Hunting for clues” objective by finding three datamasses. Interact with each one to learn more about Sai Mota’s disappearance. After you’ve gathered the requisite information, return to Liang-di to learn that the next step is to investigate the anomaly near the Rupture.

Enter the Rupture and make your way to the “Cryptoglyph” waypoint. Interact with the object to start the “Anomaly Detection” mission. During this mission, you’ll need to search for and destroy three Concentrated Darkness objects. Once you’ve destroyed all three, return to the Cryptoglyph to receive your reward: the Mindbender’s Ambition exotic shotgun.

With the Mindbender’s Ambition in hand, head back to Liang-di and she’ll give you the next quest, “Trial by Fire.” This quest will task you with completing two PvP crucible matches, and earning 100 arc kills in crucible. Once you’ve finished both objectives, return to Liang-di to claim your reward: the Artifice armor set.
