How to Get Your Classic Mount

Different mounts in World of Warcraft: Classic require different riding skills. These can be learned from a riding instructor, which can be found in any major city, for a cost. You must have the appropriate riding skill before you can learn to ride that mount. For example, you must have learned the skill for riding a tauren before you can purchase and ride a kodo.

Once you have the appropriate riding skill, you must purchase a mount from a vendor. The type of mount you can purchase is determined by your riding skill. For example, if you have learned the skill for riding a tauren, you can purchase a kodo from any tauren mount vendor.

After purchasing your mount, you must equip it. Mounts are found in the Mounts and Pets tab of your Character Info window. Right-click on the mount to equip it.

You are now ready to ride your mount! To do so, simply right-click on your mount while it is equipped. Your character will automatically mount up. Use the WASD keys to control your mount's movement. To dismount, press the spacebar.
