If you’re still interested in picking up some Destiny 2 Silver, there are a few different ways to do so. The first is by simply buying it with real-world currency. Silver can be bought in packs of 500, 1000, 2500, or 5500, and each pack costs $4.99, $9.99, $19.99, or $39.99 respectively.

If you’d rather not spend any real-world money, you can also earn Silver by completing Bright Engrams. Bright Engrams are a new type of Engram in Destiny 2 that can be earned in a few different ways. The most reliable is by level up; each time you level up, you’ll earn a free Bright Engram. You can also earn Bright Engrams by completing milestones, such as the weekly Flashpoint challenge.

Once you’ve got a Bright Engram, you can take it to Eververse and “decrypt” it to receive random items. These items can range from new shaders and vehicle wraps to dance emotes and exotic Sparrows. Each Bright Engram also contains a small amount of Silver, so it’s possible to slowly (but surely) earn enough to buy the item you’re after.

Finally, it’s worth noting that there are some items in Eververse that can only be purchased with Silver, and cannot be earned through Bright Engrams. These items include things like the “Flamingo” dance emote, which can be yours for a whopping 700 Silver.
