It's hard to believe that World of Warcraft Classic is already here! The game launched on August 27, 2019, bringing players back to the roots of their favorite MMORPG. And while the game has only been live for a few weeks, many players are already wondering what patch Classic will be on.

We don't know for sure what patch Classic will be on, but we can make some educated guesses. Based on the game's release schedule, it's likely that Classic will launch on Patch 8.2.5. This would be the earliest possible patch, as it's the patch that was live when World of Warcraft Classic was announced at BlizzCon 2018.
