Weaponsmithing Trade Skill Boost
Weaponsmithing is a Crafting Trade Skill in New World. Weaponsmithing allows for the crafting of Melee Weapons used in close combat such as Swords, Rapiers, War Hammers, Great Axes and Shields. Trade Skills are a variety of non-combat skills that the player can invest in and master. Trade Skills belonging to the Crafting category focus on creating a large variety of items ranging from Weapons and Consumables to ammunition and furniture.
Weaponsmithing is done exclusively at the Forge. That means you’ll want to set up shop in a town with a Tier 5 forge and make sure to store all of your materials there. Open your map, and check out the main settlements to see which town has a Tier 5 Forge and Smelter. It will also help if this city is a trading hub, as you’ll likely be resorting to market buying a lot of materials
This trade skills requires a plethora of materials so you should be ready to spend a lot of time mining or if you have the coins, buy the materials!
Like we mentioned before, Weaponsmithing requires a lot of material, so be ready for a lot of mining or again if you have the coin you can probably buy the materials, we will show you the most simple crafts to get to level 200
Level 0-20
We are gonna craft some weapons to level 20 to unlock some of the cheaper recipes to continue leveling
25x Iron Rapier
25x Iron Long Sword
Level 20-100
We are gonna mostly be crafting Weak Honing Stones, but feel free to mix in some Iron Great Axe and Warhammers if you have the materials to spare
2623x Weak Honing Stones
Level 100-150
We are gonna be crafting either 284 x Starmetal Great axe or Warhammers

284x Starmetal Warhammer
Level 150-200
To get to 200 you can continue crafting Starmetal Great Axes or Warhammers or you can switch to Orichalcum

Weaponsmithing is really grindy, expensive and time consuming this is but a one way to level it up as you go, feel free to mix and match any other methods to get to level 200 and good luck farming up all the materials needed to finish off this grind
