If you're playing on Xbox One, changing your name in Apex Legends is a little different than on other platforms. Here's what you need to do:

1. Go to the main menu screen of Apex Legends.

2. Scroll down to the very bottom and select the "Legend" option.

3. This will bring up a list of all the Legends in the game. Select the one you want to play as.

4. At the bottom of the Legends screen, there is an option to "Change Name."

5. Select this option and a popup will appear allowing you to enter in a new Gamertag.

6. Type in your new Gamertag and select "Done."

Your new Gamertag will now be visible to other players in Apex Legends.
