This encounter is a multi-phase battle that demands unwavering teamwork, precise positioning, and adept management of various concurrent mechanics.

Abilities:

1. Infest: Administers Shadow damage and afflicts a DoT that intensifies over time.
2. Necrotic Plague: A contagious debuff that transmits to nearby targets when purified or upon expiration.
3. Summon Drudge Ghouls and Shambling Horrors: Convenes undead minions to aid him.
4. Remorseless Winter: Delivers Frost damage to all players while thrusting them away.
5. Pain and Suffering: Imparts Shadow damage in a cone.
6. Summon Ice Sphere: Designates and pursues players, detonating upon contact.
7. Raging Spirit: Summons a spirit that administers formidable melee damage.
8. Quake: Marks the transition between phases.
9. Defile: Generates an expanding pool of shadow, inducing damage and magnifying in size upon every player impact.
10. Val’kyr Shadowguard: Conjures Val’kyr entities, which snatch and endeavor to drop players off the platform.

Strategy:

Phase 1:

• The Lich King deploys Infest, Necrotic Plague, and raises undead minions. The raid should scatter to manage the plague and focus on exterminating the adds.

Transition Phase:

• The Lich King initiates Remorseless Winter, propelling players towards the platform's periphery. Players must evade Ice Spheres and neutralize Raging Spirits.

Phase 2:

• The Lich King introduces Defile and summons Val’kyr Shadowguards. Players should disperse to curtail Defile’s expansion and concentrate on obliterating Val’kyr prior to them dropping players off the platform.

Transition Phase:
