This build provides the highest DPS for Demonology Warlocks.

2. Glyphs

Best major glyphs, but you can take what you need in minor(expect drain soul glyph). Here are the most optimized glyphs for any situation.

Yellow: Reckless Ametrine (Only if the socket bonus is +7 Spell Power)

In WoTLK all professions are balanced, but the most useful professions for Demonology are:

Jewelry – must need. 3 stones that give +117 SP.

Leatherworking - wrist enchant (+76 SP)

Alchemy - +46 SP from the potion

Enchantment - Rings enchant (+46 SP each)

Blacksmithing - 2 prismatic sockets for the gloves and wrist.

Inscription – Shoulder enchant +70 SP and 8 mana restore/5s

Tailoring – Cloak enchant +60 SP.

7. Rotation

Demonology is one of the hardest specs, so you must concentrate all the time.

Core Abilities

Life Tap buffs your spell damage. You should keep this buff up at all times.

Shadow Bolt  is a filler when you don’t have cooldowns up. You should also keep Improved Shadow Bolt on the target.

Immolate should be kept up at all times.

Soul Fire  Use when Molten Core and Decimation are active. If you can’t get both to proc, you can use it with just Decimation active.

Corruption should be kept up at all times.

Incinerate if you can’t get both procs, use it with Molten Core

Curses

Curse of the Elements should be on the target at all times.

Curse of Doom is your primary curse when an unholy DK or Moonkin is in the raid group.

Other Spells

Metamorphosis should be used as often as possible. Especially during the execution phase of the boss. (less than 35% health)

Immolation Aura should only be used when Metamorphosis is active.

It’s also worth noting to use your trinkets when Metamorphosis is active.

Demonic Empowerment should be used on cooldown.

8. DPS Stat Priority
